Enriching the lives of a family who has received the dreaded news of a pediatric cancer diagnosis.
Creating a place where this family can reconnect with each other through nature and all the beautiful nature-inspired blessings that living in the foothills of the Adirondacks gives us each day of the year.
The Lodge @ Dreaming Tree Ranch is a place that embodies the pure enjoyment in nature by providing endless opportunities to experience the North Country! There are nature trails for walking, skiing, snowshoeing, horseback riding, and side-by-side ATV riding. Campfires, swimming, fishing, hunting, a sugar house for making maple syrup are just a glimpse of the activities provided at The Lodge @ Dreaming Tree Ranch. It is a place where compassion, understanding and pure fun is captured in a natural setting. A place for families to make incredible lasting memories.
Currently, we are working on our flagship project, creating The Lodge @ Dreaming Tree Ranch.
Our dream really took flight while helping One Wish Foundation fulfill a child's dream of turkey hunting on our existing property.
Our purpose in creating The Lodge at The Dreaming Tree Ranch is to fill a niche by providing a physical place for entire families of pediatric cancer patients to enjoy.
We have secured 200 acres and we are in the process of obtaining another 30+ with a 4,300 square foot house to be converted into "The Lodge."
Fundraising efforts are ongoing to renovate The Lodge so that we can begin to host families. A complete overhaul of The Lodge is underway, including roof repair, floor replacement, painting, new appliance installation, handicap accessability, and beautification of the space and its surroundings. A wish list of furniture items can be found here.
We are also financially assisting local families who are faced with a pediatric cancer diagnosis. We partner with schools and hospitals to learn of those in need. We have worked with Ryan's Wish to help families with gas cards, and we have also partnered with Jules of Life to make some wishes of kids become a reality.
If you would like to make a donation to our renovation efforts, please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone at (315)-244-9292.
Donations can also be mailed to 5905 County Route 27 Canton, NY 13617.
Many of our renovations have been completed, but there is still so much to do!
